NYCSCA- Building Condition Assessment Survey (BCAS)
Since 2014, ZI Engineering, PC has been a key sub-consultant for providing annual Building Condition Assessment Survey (BCAS) to evaluate the condition of about 650 school facilities each year in all Boroughs of New York City for the New York City School Construction Authority – SCA and Department of Education – DOE. The overall project objective is to provide SCA/DOE with the Capital Improvement Needs to maintain its building assets in a state of good repair for many years to come.
NYCDOE/NYC DDC: Condition Assessment of 66 Facilities in the Borough of Queens, NYfor Universal Pre-K (UPK) Program of New York City
ZI Engineering, PC, as the prime consultant for this contract, provided Condition Assessment of sixty-six facilities located in the Queens Borough of New York City. These facilities, owned by private entities, were proposed to be included in the UPK program. The assessment goal was to determine the extent of construction work, and the potential deadline for the buildings to be ready for operation. The assessment identified the need for renovation and repairs in order to make the facilities compliant with the NYC DOB and NYC DOH codes.
NYCACS—Facility Condition Assessment Survey for 23 Child Care Facilities in Various Boroughs of New York City
ZI Engineering, PC, as the prime consultant for this contract, provided the Facility Condition Assessment Survey of 23 childcare facilities located in various boroughs of New York City. The project objective was to evaluate the physical condition of these facilities and provide documents in support of the NYC ACS lease renewal negotiations to secure safe, code-compliant, low-maintenance and licensable day care facilities.
